Maranges "Appellation"
Maranges is a young appellation, which has existed since 1988. It is the southernmost part of the Côte de Beaune in the villages of Cheilly, Sampigny or Dezize. This appellation produces mainly red wines described as warm, fluid with smooth and supple tannins. Wines that present an intense vinosity.
I fell in love with this “terroir” its authentic atmosphere, 'three villages on a Hill', a mosaic of vineyards operated by local winemakers, and whose wines, so Burgundy, know how to express the fruity Pinot Noir with a tannic structure dense and flexible."
